Every coin we can take.

The network is half the answer

A ticker on its own does not identify a coin. XRP in this list is a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain, not the XRP Ledger; BTC on Ethereum is wrapped Bitcoin, not Bitcoin. They are different contracts at different addresses, and money sent on a network we do not carry does not arrive at an address we can reach.

The same goes the other way: 1,622 tickers cover 1,648 coins here, because a handful of tickers are claimed by two unrelated projects on different chains. They are listed separately, under their own names, rather than merged into one row that would be true of neither. Every deposit address the API issues names the network it belongs to, and every invoice states the chain it is quoted on. Take the chain from the API response rather than from a ticker, and read the decimals from it too — USDT and USDC have 18 on BNB Chain and 6 everywhere else.

What being on this list does and does not mean

On by default

57 of them: every chain’s native coin, and the stablecoins pegged to the dollar, the euro or gold. Nothing to ask for.

On request

The rest. We hold the contract and we credit what arrives at an address we already issued, but a coin can be switched off for new addresses and quotes while we finish operating it. This page is built when the site deploys and cannot see those switches; GET /v1/coins reports one per row and is the only live answer.

Anything else

A deposit address accepts any token issued on its chain, so anything can arrive at it and be recovered. That is not a promise to price it — a coin outside this list has no price feed, so it cannot be credited to a balance until it is added.

Adding a coin is a check rather than a negotiation: the catalogue is built by reading contracts on the chain and cross-checking them, so the question is whether the contract verifies, not whether we are interested.
